#3 WE OPEN ON APRIL 6

We reopen on Wednesday 6 April.

A few days earlier than usual, usually in the Easter week.

The great leader Carlo wanted to instill a conciliatory message despite the many uncertainties of the period.

We will be open for the first time on Palm weekend, a very significant anniversary for Catholics.
With us on Garda in particular, because the palm that is blessed is an olive branch from Monte Brione, a symbol of our territory.

What season will it be?

We know that the vast majority of people can’t wait to be able to have fun but we also realize that between the will and the power there are obstacles such as expensive gasoline, covid infections, the dramatic repercussions of the war, the lack of holidays. .

To say … I lived within a radius of 100-200 km from Riva del Garda and if I could allow 3 days of vacation, perhaps I would think about a backpacking trip and an electric bike.
With what I would save on petrol (and accommodation, since for example here at the Brione we offer an extra discount for those arriving by bicycle) I would get the money back from the e-bike rental. Or a nice dinner out, if I already have one of my own.

But let’s go back to our start of the season.

At Brione there will be some new faces, because among the many misfortunes of this historical period there is also the rampant trend of leaving one’s lifelong job. Who out of necessity, who because maybe after 2 years of covid has revised its priorities a bit.

We have “lost” Andrea, the Maitre, who was not able (rightly!) To refuse an annual contract. Moreover, in a very nice company like Agraria di Riva.
As well as Giovanna, from the Bar, and Serena, from the Caravan, who for family reasons needed to be occupied all year round.

We were obviously very sorry ?.

Fortunately, we were able to find new forces, despite the fact that almost all of our fellow hoteliers and restaurateurs found themselves in the same conditions.

The new maitre will be a big boy named Alberto, a native of Venice, while Giulia, her Venetian roots too, will take possession of the bar, with eyes and a smile that will immediately make you feel good.
For La Roulotte, which this year we will try to keep open even during the day, we found Angelica who tell us she is a sandwich wizard.
During the day we will also make those, in addition to the beloved fried foods and all the usual drink proposal.

We will also have 2 more hands in the kitchen, where Maurizio often had to do it himself last year. They will be those of Michele, curiously namesake of our historic retired chef from last season.

In addition, this winter we have done some work that we hope will improve our service.
Like the new bike garage, which while I’m writing to you is still missing the door (damn it !!!) but which we are sure will be appreciated because it is bigger, more equipped and easily accessible.

In short, as they say in these cases, “follow us“.
